Refund Policy
ImpactTek follows State Council of Higher Education for Virginia or SCHEV refund regulation. Students who enroll in any of the ImpactTek programs must pay $100 nonrefundable registration fee. After student pays registration and a tuition fee but withdraws from program without attending the first day of course, ImpactTek will refund student full tuition fee minus the nonrefundable registration fee. Below is the refund policy of a student who enrolls in one of the programs but drops out.

1. If the program is 20 clock hours, and the student pays full tuition and withdraws from course before attending the first day of course, then student will be refunded 100% of paid tuition minus the nonrefundable registration fee of $100. If student completes up to 5 clock hours and then withdraws from course, then student will get a refund of 75% of tuition paid minus $100 nonrefundable registration fee and system access and class material of $400. If the student completes up to 10 clock hours and then withdraws from course, then student will get a refund of 50% of tuition paid minus $100 nonrefundable registration fee and system access and class material of $400. If the student completes up to 15 clock hours and then withdraws from course, then student will get a refund of 25% of tuition paid minus $100 nonrefundable registration fee and system access and class material of $400. If the student attends more than 16 clock hours in the 20-clock hour course, then student is not entitled to any refund.

2. If the program is 40 clock hours, and the student pays full tuition and withdraws from course before attending the first day of class, then student will be refunded 100% of paid tuition minus the nonrefundable registration fee of $100. If student completes up to 10 clock hours and then withdraws from course, then student will get a refund of 75% of tuition paid minus $100 nonrefundable registration fee and system access and class material of $400. If the student completes up to 20 clock hours and then withdraws from course, then student will get a refund of 50% of tuition paid minus $100 nonrefundable registration fee and system access and class material of $400. If the student completes up to 30 clock hours and then withdraws from course, then student will get a refund of 25% of tuition paid minus $100 nonrefundable registration fee and system access and class material of $400. After completion of any of the below programs, the student will receive a certificate of completion. If the student withdraws in the middle of program, they must re-enroll in order to continue with the program. If a student completes a certificate program and wants to transfer, the transferability of the program certificate and credentials earned is at the sole discretion of the receiving school. ImpactTek does not accept the transfers of other education institution certificate program, credits, or credentials. At this time ImpactTek is not offering payment plan. Students that enroll in any other programs will have to pay the tuition, registration fee and if applicable books and learning material at the time of program registration.
Since July 2020, ImpactTek has held cybersecurity and cloud computing courses, a total of 300 students have taken our courses and our pass rate is 90%. About 150 our students were successfully placed in IT Jobs.
Grievance Process: ImpactTek will provide good quality IT training but understands differences may arise at times. If a student is displeased or feels they are not receiving the training that they were promised, then the student can formally submit a complaint by email to the instructor or Ahmed Adde, ImpactTek president and administrator. The student will be asked to fill out a complaint form. If the student’s complaints have not been addressed then the student can submit a complaint to State Council of Higher Education for Virginia or SCHEV. A new enrollment agreement must be completed in the event that the student (i) delays his start dates, (ii) changes the program of enrollment; or (iii) drops from the program and re-enrolls at a later date. No postsecondary school shall condition the enrollment of a student on: (1) Entering into an agreement that requires the studen to arbitrate any dispute between the student and the school, regardless of whether the agreement permits the student to opt out of the requirement to arbitrate any such dispute in the future; or (2) Entering into an agreement that requires the student to resolve a dispute on an individual basis and waive the right to class or group actions.
